The Jotron series 7000 UHF digital radios are designed to provide ground to air communication for professional users in the air defence frequency range. The receiver maintains its good sensitivity even when strong locally generated signals are present on neighbour channels. The transmitter is designed to give a minimum of unwanted noise and spurious products. Delivered standard with AM capabilities, it can also be delivered with FM as an option. The radios consist of different units with a plug-in modular design, to enable fast and convenient service and upgrades. By using various combinations of these units, they will conform a receiver, a transmitter or a complete transceiver. The radios comply to known international standards and recommendations.
